How many Claude certifications are there?
Anthropic's Claude Certification Program spans 4 certifications: Claude Certified Architect (Foundations), Claude Certified Architect (Professional), Claude Certified Associate (Foundations), and Claude Certified Developer (Foundations). Each has its own exam blueprint and domain weighting.
Which certification can I study for today?
CCAR-F (30 lessons, 400+ practice questions), CCAR-P (38 lessons, 390+ practice questions), CCAO-F (30 lessons, 390+ practice questions), and CCDV-F (25 lessons, 360+ practice questions) are open: the lessons are free, and the full mock exams are a one-time purchase per certification.
How do I choose the right certification?
Pick by role. Associate Foundations is for business professionals who use Claude as a daily productivity tool. Developer Foundations is for engineers who build and ship Claude-powered applications. The Architect track, Foundations then Professional, is for people designing Claude-powered agentic systems end to end. Foundations exams are the entry level; Professional is the advanced tier.
How realistic is the mock exam?
Each certification's mock exams mirror its published blueprint: CCAR-F runs 60 questions in 120 minutes, CCAR-P runs 63 questions in 120 minutes, CCAO-F runs 60 questions in 120 minutes, and CCDV-F runs 53 questions in 120 minutes, weighted across the same domains as the live exam and in the same question formats. They're timed and scored, so you can rehearse pacing before exam day.
Is this guide free, and what does the official exam cost?
Every lesson, quick reference and glossary is free, and so is each certification's diagnostic test, which needs no account to take. The full-length mock exams and drill mode are a one-time purchase per certification. The official exams are separate: Anthropic administers them and sets the fees. Each certification's page on this site lists the exam facts, taken straight from the official exam guides.
How long does it take to prepare?
Most people with Claude experience need 15-20 hours of study per certification. If you're new to Claude, allow 30-40 hours. Each certification's diagnostic test helps you focus on the domains where you need the most work.
