Who We Are

The Claude Certification Guide (claudecertificationguide.com) is an independent, free educational resource for developers preparing for the Claude Certified Architect (Foundations) exam. It is not affiliated with Anthropic.

What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to understand how the site is used and to improve the learning experience:

  • Analytics data — We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data including page views, session duration, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information is collected by these tools.
  • Local storage data — Your study progress, flashcard review state, and theme preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
  • Feedback submissions — If you use the feedback button, any text you submit is collected to improve the site. Do not include personal information in feedback messages.

Cookies and Tracking

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions. These are first-party cookies set by Google's analytics script. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. We do not use any advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How We Use Your Data

  • To understand which content is most useful and where users spend time
  • To identify technical issues (broken pages, slow load times)
  • To improve lessons, practice questions, and study materials

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Vercel Analytics — Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Vercel (hosting) — The site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel processes server logs containing IP addresses as part of standard web hosting.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is typically no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To clear local study progress data, clear your browser's local storage for this site.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
